Timothy Zahn

Timothy Zahn 1 Eylül 1951 Chicago doğumludur. Michigan devlet üniversitesi fizik bölümünden 1973'te mezun olmuştur. Cascade point isimli eseriyle 1984'te Hugo ödülünü kazanmıştır.

Sadece heir to the empire üçlemesini yazmakla kalmamış, Outbound flight, The hand of thrawn duology ve son olarak 30 Ocak 2007'de çıkacak olan Allegiance'i da yazmıştır. En unlu genişletilmiş evren yazarlarından biridir.
